Connect with and serve our neighbors living in the Frederick Douglass Houses by giving out food to the community and praying for their needs. The Frederick Douglass Houses are a low-to-middle-income public housing complex stretching from 100th to 104th streets between Amsterdam and Manhattan Avenues. Come be a part of building relationships with and loving our neighbors in the West Side!

When: 2nd and fourth Thursdays of each month (sign in to select specific dates). Food distribution starts at 11am and continues until all the food is given out, typically 2-3 hours. Volunteers can arrive and depart at any time during that window, as their schedule allows.

Location: 101st St. & Columbus Ave. in front of 830 Columbus Ave.

Note: Volunteers must be age 18+ or accompanied by an adult.
